Aurum

The name Aurum means ‘gold’ in Latin. The best cocktail bars serve it with a spectacular ice-ball, with flecks of edible gold leaf, to add a touch of magic.


INGREDIENT:

30 ml BACARDÍ 8 AÑOS Rum
40 ml NOILLY PRAT® Ambré
4 dashes of old fashioned bitters


METHOD:

Pour the BACARDÍ 8 AÑOS rum, NOILLY PRAT® Ambré and bitters into a mixing glass and add ice some cubes. Then give it all a good mix before strain into a frozen glass, complete with a frozen gold leaf ice ball. To make the ice ball place a teaspoon of edible gold leaf into an ice mould, top up with boiled or mineral water and freeze overnight.
