Sleepy Rum

This is the ultimate nightcap with its subtle hints of violets and lavender. It acquires its amazing pastel purple color from a combination of the lavender syrup and egg white, which also makes it opaque and slightly frothy.


INGREDIENT:

30 ml BACARDÍ Carta Blanca
20 ml apple liqueur
15 ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
5 ml lavender syrup
1 fresh egg white


METHOD:

Pour the BACARDÍ Carta Blanca rum, apple liqueur, lemon juice, lavender syrup and egg white into a cocktail shaker. Then add some ice cubes and give it all quick and vigorous shake. Fine strain the mixture into a chilled glass. Garnish with a thin slice of apple and lavender flowers.
